What is ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)?


ERP is the gold-standard, research-supported therapy for treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It helps you confront the thoughts, images, or situations that cause anxiety—without relying on compulsions or avoidance.

In ERP, you gradually face your fears in a structured and supportive way, learning that anxiety can rise and fall naturally without you needing to do something to “make it go away.” Over time, this builds confidence, reduces fear, and weakens the grip of OCD.

OUR PROCESS

  • 1. Initial Consultation

    Firstly, Fill out our friendly “form submission” and you will hear from Dana, the group practice owner. Dana will get back to you either through text or email with 24 hours.

  • 2. Scheduling & Sessions

    Dana will do an initial call with you to find out what you need help with and to explain the logistics of our therapy practice.

  • 3. Tailored Therapy

    After you decide you are ready to start, and have been matched with one of our therapists, they will send you intake paperwork to sign electronically and will begin your sessions and first appointment.
